LATE RUN PROPELS MEN'S BASKETBALL TO 62-56 OVER MSU MOORHEAD
ST. CLOUD, Minn. — The Michigan Tech men's basketball team turned a seven-point halftime deficit into a 62-56 win over Minnesota State Moorhead tonight in the opening game of the St. Cloud State Invitational. The Huskies shot just 3-of-15 from behind the arc but turned 16 MSUM turnovers into 20 points to even their season record at 1-1.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Michigan Tech surged to a 16-2 lead over Missouri Western midway through the first half and never looked back in a 67-37 win at the Drury Classic at Weiser Gymnasium today. The No. 1-ranked Huskies limited the Griffons to 29 percent field goal shooting in the game to improve to 2-0.

TECH ENDS SEASON WITH 3-0 LOSS IN NCAA TOURNAMENT
The Michigan Tech volleyball team had its season come to an end Thursday (Nov. 19) after falling to Indianapolis 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-20) in the first round of the 2009 NCAA Division II NCAA Women's Volleyball Tournament. The Huskies finish the season with a 14-15 record while the Greyhounds, the top seed in the region improve to 36-1 and will face No. 5 seed Hillsdale Friday (Nov. 20).

SCOTT NETS FIRST NHL GOAL
Former Michigan Tech Husky John Scott (2002-06) scored his first career NHL goal Sunday (Nov. 15) in the Minnesota Wild's 5-4 shoot out loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. He scored the seventh goal of the game and the third for the Wild on a backhanded shot at 14:06 of the second period. He was assisted by Kim Johnsson and Owen Nolan.
